After covering Papier Maché objects by a layer of lac, so they are called Lacquer.
Persian Lacquer Painting objects are such as book covers, the frame of mirrors, make up boxes, play cards and trays. They are different from the lacquer objects of China and India.
In Iran the famous Papier Maché lacquer are Pen holders.
